It’s going to be strange, living in a world without Robert Englund someday but I’m glad to have lived this lifetime knowing of his existence I truly feel blessed that he played Freddy Krueger so well. To this day, I still mourn the death of Wes Craven I truly thank him for bringing Freddy into existence.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies and I think Dustin was perfection in the part of Raymond. He is so versatile, likable and humble. While I love Tom's movies and think he is ultra handsome and super talented, he has an explosive temper on set. My other most favorite movie, is 'Midnight Cowboy', with my other favorite actor, Jon Voight. He is a great actor, adorable and is a kind and humble man also. Dustin was brilliant in the part of 'Ratso Rizzo'. I've probably watched both of those movies dozens of times. Dustin, Tom, and Jon are what makes going to the movies such a great time!❤

This is one of the problem Jackie Earle Haley has as the rebooted Freddy (2010) His makeup (facial burns, scar tissue) are nowhere nearly as pronounced as Robert's were and ultimately Jackie's voice doesn't have that menacing tone

I wish Hollywood would humanize Freddy & show us his back story on why he became evil. Like show him being a model citizen but an action of someone blackmailing him & then accusing him of being a child molester & then burning him before going to trial made him get revenge on the town that burned him alive. I don’t want him to be born evil!! Hollywood should do the back story.
